Ursprung trocken 1,5 l Magnum - Markus SchneiderThe origin dry from Markus Schneider is not called so without reason. With the Portugieser and international classics such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this red wine from Ellerstadt brings two components into the bottle that have determined Markus Schneider's work from the very beginning. First, the old Portugieser vines of the winery, and second, the love of red grape varieties of France. Schneider's origin comes into the glass with a purple color and ruby reflections. The bouquet initially shows mainly blackberries, blackcurrant and some elderberry. Finally, herbaceous tones and forest floor hints as well as a hint of chocolate join in On the palate, the Schneider Ursprung is wonderfully velvety, juicy and round. Tannins and fruit acidity are clearly subordinate to the fruity aromas and unerringly pass the ball to each other. The finish is also long and multi-faceted. Vinification of the Schneider Ursprung dry The grapes for the Ursprung come from the Feuerberg vineyard, whose soil is dominated by gravel, sand and gravel. After harvesting, the grapes, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Portugieser in various proportions depending on the vintage, are fermented in red wine fermenters for 2-4 weeks. The Schneider origin is then pumped off unfined and aged three-quarters in steel tanks and one-quarter in used French barrels. Food recommendation for the Markus Schneider Ursprung Enjoy this fine red wine cuvée from the Palatinate with dark meat dishes such as leg of lamb or roast beef, with beef steaks or simply on its own.
