Seleção do Año Tinto - Monte da RavasqueiraThe Seleção do Año Tinto of Monte da Ravasqueira combines the grape varieties Alicante Bouschet (25%), Aragonêz (25%), Syrah (25%) and Touriga Nacional (25%). A dense dark red with violet highlights shines in the glass of this Portuguese wine. The bouquet is carried by expressive notes of wild berries - especially raspberry and blackberry - ripe plums and figs. The palate presents a gripping character that is nevertheless very elegant and harmonizes wonderfully with the aromas of the nose. The long finish is carried by velvety, soft tannins. Vinification of the Tinto Monte da Ravasqueira Seleção do Año After harvesting the four grape varieties (Alicante Bouschet, Aragonêz, Syrah and Touriga Nacional), a temperature-controlled maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks. Once fermentation is complete, 20% of this wine is aged in French oak for 6 months. The remaining 80% rests in stainless steel tanks.
