After several warm vintages, 2021 brings a welcome change: A longer growing season, cooler temperatures, and more rainfall ensure elegant freshness, moderate alcohol levels, and a distinct finesse. A vintage for lovers of terroir-influenced wines. Concentrated red fruits such as currants and sour cherries dominate the nose, complemented by subtle notes of pepper and sandalwood. The palate is clearly structured and rich in finesse, with mineral depth and great aging potential, all in keeping with the terroir.
