A classic Oestricher Riesling Kabinett. Harvested early, it retains its youthful fruit and exceptional freshness. At just 8.5% ABV, it's the perfect choice as an aperitif. The Oestricher LENCHEN extends on a southwest-facing slope up to the Pfingstbach stream. Here, it is bordered by the stream in the Gottestal valley. The cold stream water often leads to early morning fog, which promotes the spread of Botrytis cinerea and thus noble rot. The old vineyard is called Eiserberg. The red-lying soil is deep and interspersed with iron-rich veins. Loess loam alternates with tertiary marl. Lenchen is considered the top site for fruity-sweet and noble-sweet Rieslings in the Rheingau. Floral, highly aromatic Riesling grapes with tremendous minerality grow here. A perfect balance of sweetness and acidity ensures freshness and exceptionally long-lasting wines.
