This wine reflects the fresh, vibrant characteristics of the Marlborough region. Initially, aromas of lemongrass, chili peppers, and fresh herbs from the cool Awatere Valley leap from the glass. Then, the tropical notes of melon, gooseberry, and ripe citrus from the warmer Wairau Valley emerge. Light straw yellow with greenish nuances. An explosive, fragrantly aromatic, and incredibly complex bouquet of exotic passion fruit and passion fruit, fresh citrus, and honeydew melon, subtly underpinned by light, grassy herbal notes. On the palate, juicy with an intense concentration of fruit, fresh herbs, and lemongrass, with racy acidity that lends even more vibrancy and freshness to the finish.
