The story begins in 2002, when Orlando Nugnes fulfilled his dream and built the winery with his son Antonio and grandson Orlando Jr. Thanks to their high level of professionalism, innovation, hard work, and outstanding wines, they quickly transformed a simple winery into a flagship company. Antonio Nugnes produced the legendary Falerno del Massico. The mild, temperate climate, the fertile soils rich in volcanic elements, and the pleasant Campania sunshine contribute to enriching the wines with intense and delicate aromas. This is where Falerno del Massico takes on all the characteristics that earned it the Designation of Controlled Origin in 1986. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand at the end of October. The wine ages for five months in stainless steel tanks. An excellent accompaniment to grilled fish, shellfish, squid, and cheese. Color: light straw yellow. Aroma: Delicate, with notes of fresh fruit, almonds, hazelnuts, white flowers, citrus fruits, aromatic herbs, and dried flowers. Palate: Full, with just the right acidity, hints of roasted hazelnuts, bitter almonds, and spices.
