The Valtènesi Riviera del Garda Classico D.O.P. Chiaretto is named Roseri because of its delicate rosebud fragrance. It is made from the four red grape varieties of Lake Garda: Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese, and Barbera. After harvesting, the grapes are cold-macerated at low temperatures, producing a very elegant and full-bodied must. It is called a night's wine because, to make this rosé wine, the must was originally left in contact with the grape skins overnight. Its unique structure extends the lifespan of this Chiaretto by several years, while always preserving its fragrance. The clay soils of the Basso Garda area give it its mineral flavor and floral aroma, making it an ideal accompaniment to seafood dishes.
