Prope Montepulciano d´Abruzzo DOC - Velenosi

This ruby-red Montepulciano is grown at an altitude of over 250 metres above sea level in the municipality of Controguerra. After fermentation, the wine is stored in large barrels where it matures for around 12 months. Its complex aroma reveals notes of sour cherry and ripe blackberries. These are accompanied by very characteristic aromas of coffee powder, tobacco and liquorice.
