The Edelis Fleiner Kirchenweinberg Samtrot Spätlese has a soft, velvety character with a fine fruit aroma. Dense, intense aromas of raspberries, ripe cherries and strawberries paired with a harmonious residual sweetness characterize this late harvest. The Samtrot variety is the youngest offspring of the Burgundy family and a natural mutation of the Schwarzriesling. The grape variety was discovered in Weinsberg in 1928. The Samtrot is a noble and elegant representative of the large Burgundy family.
