Goldmuskateller DOC - Cantina Tramin

The grapes thrive on slopes between 250 and 550 m. The vineyards have calcareous, loamy to gravelly soils and are exposed to strong temperature fluctuations between day and night. Above-average temperatures in spring favored earlier budding. The persistent warm temperatures in May led to rapid flowering. Thanks to targeted work in the vineyard and occasional rain, the vines were kept in a stress-free condition despite summer periods of extreme heat. The grape harvest began almost two weeks earlier than usual. Because the weather was ideal, grapes of outstanding quality were harvested throughout the entire harvest period. The red wines of the 2022 vintage are impressive, they benefit from a high degree of ripeness and develop a complex fruit and full taste with strong aromas. The white wines have a distinctive, finesse-rich fruit with a balanced acidity. Color: The Goldmuskateller is a sweet, aromatic wine with a straw to golden yellow color. Smell: It smells pleasantly of nutmeg, with hints of honeydew melon, cloves and roses. Taste: It is characterized by a sweet, spicy taste that is soft and round.
