Fine Carignan grapes are the secret of the popular LE BLAIREAU. Unfortunately, the badger (= blaireau) that lived on the edge of the vineyard has since been shot by trigger-happy French hunters. The label Mas des Quernes commemorates this friendly roommate. Carignan is experiencing a real renaissance among connoisseurs.
