Vegliamonte Alba DOC - Parusso Armando

In the municipality of Santa Rosalia near Alba, Marco Parusso has acquired 8 hectares of vineyards. Here he now produces the classic Alba Doc, which according to the statutes must consist of Nebbiolo and Barbera. The grapes are harvested by hand, then vinified separately and the young wine is aged in new barriques for 18 months. After the two cuvée components have been assembled, the Vegliamonte is bottled - just 4,000 bottles per year. Color: sparkling ruby. Scent: reminiscent of roses and violets. Taste: full, fresh acidity, lots of fruit and structure.
