For this high-quality red wine cuvée, we use the classic, regional grape varieties Lemberger and Samtrot, which grow in the top locations of Heilbronn. The only healthy grapes were all picked by hand and then traditionally fermented on the mash. After almost 2 years of maturing, the wine was bottled unfiltered in 650 liter oak barrels specially made for the Bürgerwein and is characterized by our local Keuper soil. €2 from the sale proceeds per bottle go to the Heilbronner Bürgerstiftung for eligible projects in Heilbronn, such as the expansion and maintenance of the Wine Panorama Trail. The Heilbronner Bürgerwein is a joint project of the winery G.A. Heinrich from Heilbronn and the cooperative winery Heilbronn eG. The label adorns the face of the astronomical art clock in the historic town hall of Heilbronn, which is considered to be one of Heilbronn's outstanding sights.
