The Christmann winery has fundamentally changed its product range hierarchy. The new basic wines are now called AUS DEN LAGEN and represent all of Christmann's own classified vineyards with their soils and microclimates, which are located along a length of almost five kilometers along the Haardt edge. For the Pinot Blanc, the grapes come from old vines in the Gimmeldinger Schlössel and the Pfarrwingert. Fermentation and aging take place in new double barrels. Subtle bouquet of yellow fruits such as peaches, apricots and some citrus. There are also herbs and slightly smoky notes. On the palate, characterized by elegant, flinty, chalky coolness and a lot of pressure. A finely balanced acidity rounds off the whole harmoniously. A special Pinot Blanc with Burgundian format.
