Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon - Robert Mondavi

Some of the grapes come from the vineyards surrounding Woodbridge Winery in Lodi, one of the first AVAsin California. All grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, completely destemmed, then gently crushed andFermented with selected yeasts at slightly warmer temperatures to maximize their complex aromasto express. An extended maceration time for some of the wines underlines thisaromatic intensity and gentle tannin structure of the cuvée, the aging in French and AmericanOak finishes it off with warm fullness and delicate roasted notes.The bouquet has spicy, fruity notes of cherries, cedar wood and brown sugar. Medium-strong on the palateAromas of juicy berries, chocolate and delicious, slightly roasted caramel notes in the finish.
