The 2019 Idig was one of the great dry wines of this top vintage in Germany, receiving rave reviews from some wine critics. The 2020 is also a great wine, almost on par with the 2019 vintage, vinified entirely for its potential and ageability. With a little aeration, the nose reveals blood oranges, blossom honey, limes, and crushed stone. Very juicy yet creamy, underpinned by the typical chalky, smoky minerality of the site. Delivered in a wooden case for 6 bottles.
