The Kurayoshi Sherry Cask is a single malt whiskey produced by the Matsui Shuzo Distillery, located in Tottori Prefecture, north-west of Kyoto and north-east of Hiroshima, on the coast of the Sea of Japan. More than 14% of the prefecture is a natural park, full of lush vegetation, rugged coastlines, rivers and lakes. The whiskey is aged in oak barrels for over 3 years, and then finished in sherry barrels. In the glass it appears of an intense amber color. It has soft aromas of fruit and chocolate that balance with the citrus aromas of lemon grass. Its sip is velvety and elegant, perfect for a pleasant end to a splendid evening.
