Gemei is one of the red grapes signed by the Ottella winery, a name recognized for its excellent Lugana. It is a blend composed of Corvina Veronese, Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon. Fermentation takes place partially in steel and partially in wood, where it ages for about 6 months. Ruby red with garnet reflections. The nose is reminiscent of red berries, morello cherry and strawberry jam, on a vaguely spicy background. The palate is juicy and full-bodied, where softness wraps and freshness continues the sip in persistence. To be combined with a beef stew.
