Ruffino Rosso di Marte Bolgheri DOC 0,75 ℓ

The Rosso di Marte of the Ruffino company is a Bolgheri Rosso DOC produced along the Tyrrhenian coast from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. The grapes come from vineyards grown on clayey-sandy soils and located at an average altitude of 200 meters above sea level. After harvesting, the grapes are fermented separately to refine in second passage barriques for 6 months. 3 months bottle aging follows. Ruby red in color, it has an intense aromatic profile with notes of wild berries and balsamic references that anticipate notes of tobacco and sweet spices. On the palate it is pleasant and harmonious, with good structure, silky tannins and fullness of fruit before a medium-long finish. Perfect with grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with first courses of mushrooms and game.
