The Quality Merlot Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine from Tenuta Ulisse is a refined and distinctive representation of the Abruzzo region. Born from a calcareous-clayey soil, benefiting from the influence of the mountain climate and the Adriatic breezes, this sparkling wine is the result of a careful choice of Merlot grapes. The harvest begins with the meticulous sorting of the grapes, followed by the use of the exclusive Ulisse cooling tunnel for a sudden reduction in temperature. The slow fermentation proceeds at a controlled temperature in thermoregulated and inert tanks. The refinement follows the Charmat method, then completed in the bottle for 3 months. This sparkling wine has an intense, vital and crystalline pink color, embellished with a dense perlage that generates a fragrant creamy foam. On the nose, notes of roses, wild strawberries and currants stand out, which lead to an intriguing and well-balanced taste, characterized by a perfect balance between body, acidity and softness. It is perfect as an aperitif, but also to pair with appetizers and meat-based main courses.
