Terredora Fatica Contadina Taurasi DOCG 0,75 ℓ

The Taurasi Fatica Contadina di Terredora was born in the owned vineyard in Lapio and Montemiletto, in the province of Avellino. It is produced entirely from Aglianico grapes, all harvested and selected manually. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with maceration for 10-12 days. Subsequently the wine ages in small French oak barrels for 18 months and then in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 6 months. This Taurasi is characterized by an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a fruity bouquet, with intense notes of cherry, berries, plum, hints of pepper and minerals. The sip is structured and balanced, with a long persistence. It is perfect to combine with roasted red meat or game, with spicy and truffle-based dishes and with aged cheeses.
