Ritterhof Lagrein Latus Südtirol - Alto Adige DOC 0,75 ℓ

The Lagrein Latus of the Crescendo line of Ritterhof rises from vineyards over 45 years old, grown in Gries, near Bolzano and Ora, in the heart of the Bassa Atesina. It is made entirely from Lagrein grapes, manually harvested when fully ripe. Fermentation takes place for 12 days at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C. It follows aging in French oak barrels and in large wooden barrels for 12 months. Intense red wine, it expresses intriguing hints of black currant and blueberry on the nose, enriched with pleasant notes of licorice. In the mouth it reveals full-bodied and sapid, with beautiful complexity and persistence. Excellent in the company of red meats and game, it goes well with aged cheeses.
