Sancerre Blanc AOP – SILEX - J. De Villebois

A cuvée from vineyards in the eastern part of the growing region, near the river, whose soil is particularly rich in flint (silex). These vineyards produce Sauvignon Blanc wines of outstanding style. Only the free-run juice, without pressing, is used. This is fermented in equal parts in stainless steel and concrete tanks and then aged for a further eight months on the fine lees with batonnage. Color: Pale straw yellow; Aroma: Complex, yellow fruits, cassis, citrus; Taste: Fresh, elegant, with salinity and minerality on the finish.
