Vinification of the Nals Margreid Gennen Sauvignon Blanc This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Sauvignon Blanc. Only the best grapes were used for this exceptionally powerful single-varietal wine from Nals Margreid. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sedimentary and weathered rock. The grapes for this white wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand once optimum ripeness has been ensured. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by ageing for several months in large oak barrels.
