Custoza - Tantini GiovannaWith the Tantini Giovanna Custoza, a first-class white wine comes into the glass. It reveals a wonderfully luminous, golden-yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this Italian white wine offers delightful aromas of banana and green apple, complemented by additional fruity nuances. This wine impresses with its straightforward dry flavor profile. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. As one would expect from a wine, it delights with a refined balance despite its dryness. Flavor does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is beautifully silky. The finish of this Veneto wine impresses with a remarkable aftertaste. The aftertaste is further complemented by mineral notes from the limestone-dominated soils. Vinification of Tantini Giovanna Custoza The balanced Custoza from Italy is a blend made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Garganega, and Trebbiano. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Veneto. The vines here root deeply into limestone soils. When fully ripe, the grapes for Custoza are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of strenuous and minimally selective harvesters. After harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here, they are sorted and gently destemmed. They then undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the Custoza continues to harmonize on the fine lees for 6 months. Food pairing recommendations for Tantini Giovanna Custoza Enjoy this Italian white wine ideally well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to leek tortillas, vegetable stews with pesto, or cod with cucumber-mustard vegetables.
