The first nose of Terroir Cinsault shows of blackcurrants, blackberries and mulberries. The fruity hints of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as even more fruity-balsamic nuances. On the palate, La Grange's Terroir Cinsault opens wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. There are dry and really dry. This red wine belongs to the latter, as it was bottled with just 1 g of residual sugar. This dense red wine presents itself on the palate full of pressure and complexity. Due to its present fruit acid, the Terroir Cinsault reveals itself exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this red wine from the wine-growing region of the Languedoc finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of black currant and mulberry show. Vinification of the La Grange Terroir Cinsault This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Cinsault. Only impeccable grape material was harvested for this wonderfully powerful single varietal wine from La Grange. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months in oak barrels. Food recommendation for the Terroir Cinsault of La Grange This red wine from France is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to pasta with sausage dumplings, arugula penne or potato pan with salmon.
