Pian del Prete Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 0,75 ℓ

Brunello Pian del Prete is produced in the renowned Montalcino region, known for its limestone soils enriched with clay and shale. This terroir, located at 350 meters above sea level, benefits from the sea breezes coming from the Maremma, which help create the ideal conditions for growing the vine. The winemaking involves fermentation in stainless steel tanks for a period of 15-20 days. Subsequently, the wine undergoes a period of refinement of 20 months in oak barrels, followed by 4 months in barrique and a further 6 months of rest in the bottle. This wine has a garnet red color and offers the nose intense aromas of liquorice and cherry. On the palate it is full and spicy, characterized by great elegance. The tannins are soft and well integrated, culminating in a long and persistent finish. Ideal to accompany game dishes and mature cheeses, it enhances its organoleptic qualities in combinations with intense and rich flavours.
