This Chianti Classico by Fontodi comes to life from the Filetta vineyard located 600 meters above sea level in the Lamole area, a Tuscan area with a high vocation reached by the winery since 2014. Pure Sangiovese, it is obtained from organic viticulture. The must ferments in steel with maceration on the skins. The wine is then left to age for 24 months in large French oak barrels. The color is intense and brilliant ruby red. On the nose it expresses aromas of cherry and berries, with references to licorice, tobacco and violet. On the palate it has an elegant and fluid sip, of good aromatic complexity, with a fresh and persistent finish. Suitable to accompany stewed meats and roasts, it can be appreciated in combination with aged cheeses.
