Fantini Farnese Brut Gran Cuvée Rosé Sparkling Wine is born in vineyards located in the Potentinian municipality of Acerenza, in Basilicata. The Swarovski diamond placed in the centre of the label makes this bubble ideal as a romantic gift, especially on the occasion of the Valentine's Day. It is produced exclusively with Aglianico del Vulture grapes, harvested only by hand and pressed whole. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 12 °C for 20 days. A slow second fermentation follows in small pressurized tanks for 60 days. Fantini Farnese's Gran Cuvée Rosé sparkling wine is characterized by a pomegranate colour and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with intense aromas of ripe cherries, currants, wild strawberries and raspberries. On the palate it is aromatic and full-bodied, balanced by a good freshness. Excellent as an aperitif, this sparkling wine is perfect to accompany fish-based dishes but in general all dishes of seafood cuisine.
