Gekus Toscana - Paladin

Gekus Toscana - PaladinGekus Toscana - PaladinThe elegant Gekus Toscana, crafted by Paladin, flows into the glass with a luminous purplish-red hue. This Italian cuvée displays wonderfully expressive notes of blackberry jam in the glass. Additionally, hints of clove, cinnamon, and vanilla emerge. On the palate, the Gekus Toscana from Paladin unfolds beautifully aromatic, fruit-focused, and balanced. Despite its dry impression on the palate, this red wine impresses with juicy smoothness and finely integrated residual sweetness. Its balanced structure features an incredibly dense and silky texture. Thanks to its harmonious fruit acidity, the Gekus Toscana caresses the palate with a soft mouthfeel while maintaining a juicy liveliness. The well-ageable wine from the Tuscany wine region finally delights with a noteworthy length on the finish. Once again, hints of blackberry jam can be detected. Vinification of Gekus Toscana from Paladin This balanced red wine from Italy is produced from the grape varieties Sangiovese and Syrah. After harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the winery. Here, they are carefully sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification concludes with a maturation for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled. Food pairing recommendations for Gekus Toscana from Paladin Enjoy this Italian red wine ideally cooled to 15 - 18°C as a companion wine to boeuf bourguignon, veal shoulder with beans and tomatoes, or stuffed peppers.
