Only the best harvest grapes were used for this exceptionally balanced, pure varietal wine from La Sibilla. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Campania. The vines root deeply into flinty soils here. When fully ripe, the grapes for Piedirosso Campi Flegrei are harvested exclusively by hand, without the use of strenuous and less selective machinery. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the press house. Here, they are selected and gently crushed. Subsequently, fermentation takes place in small barrels made of French oak at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by several months of maturation in barrels made of French oak.
