CVNE Cune Rioja DOCa Ecòlogico 0,75 ℓ

Cune Ecòlogico is a red wine produced in the Rioja region, obtained from grapes grown organically by the historical suppliers of the Compañia Vinicola del Norte de España in the areas of Haro and San Vicente. The vineyards, located on clay-limestone soils, use organic compost of plant origin and avoid the use of synthetic pesticides and herbicides, maintaining the natural balance of the soil and the environment. The organic grapes are harvested by hand and vinified individually in concrete tanks. After refrigeration of the grapes at 12ºC for 12 hours, spontaneous fermentation takes place with natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks at 24ºC to preserve the aromas and varietal expression. The wine is aged in 300 liter oak barrels for 6 months to develop volume and complexity before bottling. The wine has a purple color. On the nose it offers an aromatic intensity of black fruits such as blackberries and blueberries. On the palate it has a soft entry, with a round and enveloping passage, silky tannins and a slightly acidic finish that gives freshness and a long fruity persistence. This wine is ideal to enjoy with Mediterranean foods, pasta, rice, cured ham, cheeses and meats of all kinds.
