As if that were not already impressive, notes of mint/melissa are added thanks to maturation in small wooden barrels. The Francesco Poli Nosiola Majano tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this Italian, despite all its dryness, delights with the finest balance. Vinification of Francesco Poli Nosiola Majano The basis for the well-balanced Nosiola Majano from Trentino-Alto Adige is grapes of the Nosiola variety. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures follows. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 4 months in oak barriques. Food recommendation for Francesco Poli Nosiola Majano This white wine from Italy is best enjoyed well chilled at 8–10°C. It is perfectly suited as an accompaniment to potato skillet with salmon, leek soup or fried trout with ginger-pear.
