Rosato - CenatiempoThe elegant Rosato from the hand of Cenatiempo comes into the glass with a bright ruby red. On the nose, this Cenatiempo rosé wine reveals all kinds of raspberries and acacia. As if that were not already impressive enough, further aromas such as basil emerge thanks to maturation in stainless steel. On the palate, Cenatiempo’s Rosato starts wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. On the tongue, this harmonious rosé wine is characterized by an exceedingly silky, crisp and light texture. On the finish, this wine from the Campania wine-growing region delights with lovely length. Once again, hints of raspberry and acacia appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the volcanic stone–dominated soils join in. Vinification of Cenatiempo Rosato The basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Rosato cuvée from Cenatiempo is Aglianico and Piedirosso grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Campania. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into soils of volcanic rock. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There, they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
