St. George Cuvée Badacsonyi - Gilvesy

Saint George, or rather the mountain named after him, which dominates the wine region on the northern shore of Lake Balaton (Szent György-hegy in Hungarian), inspired the name of this cuvée. Accordingly, an image of the holy dragon slayer adorns the front label. Furmint is complemented by two Riesling varieties: Rajnai Rizling (Rhine Riesling) and Olaszrizling (Welsch Riesling), which are only similar in name but not related to each other. Fermentation and aging of the wine take place in a combination of steel tanks and 500-liter oak barrels.
