Lagrein Rosé from Abbazia di Novacella is a rosé wine produced in the Bolzano area, in Alto Adige, from Lagrein grapes grown on alluvial silt-sandy soils with a porphyritic component. The vineyards are located on flat land and are cultivated in an ideal setting that favors the production of fresh, elegant, and fragrant wines—typical expressions of the Alto Adige territory.Vinification involves stainless steel processing with temperature-controlled fermentation, followed by a short maturation period also in stainless steel. This approach preserves the wine’s aromatic freshness and finesse, maintaining the varietal characteristics and its pleasant drinkability.In the glass, it displays a brilliant cherry red color. On the nose, it reveals delicate and fruity aromas of raspberry and strawberry, accompanied by a light hint of cherry. On the palate, it is fresh and balanced, with elegant acidity, a delicate structure, and a harmonious, fruity finish.It pairs perfectly with light dishes such as carpaccio, grilled fish, and simple summer cuisine preparations.
