The Marzemino of the Bottega Vinai di Cavit line rises in Vallagarina, on the right and left banks of the Adige river, from the basalt terraces of Isera and in Volano, in the dei Ziresi area, ie the cherry trees, in the foothills of Rovereto. It is produced exclusively from Marzemino Gentile grapes. Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature, with 7 days maceration on the skins. The wine always rests in steel for 6 months and ages for another 4 months in the bottle. In the glass it shows an intense ruby red color. The aromas give hints of violet and ripe cherry, enlivened by spicy sensations of licorice. The sip is quite fresh and round, with the right tannins. Perfect for appetizers with an intense flavor, first courses with mushrooms and second courses of meat, both roasted and grilled.
