Salcheto Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG Riserva 0,75 ℓ

The Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva is located on the Salcheto estate, located in the Sienese municipality of Montepulciano. It derives from Sangiovese grapes, locally called Prugnolo Gentile, harvested exclusively by hand and slightly overripe. The fermentation in red is followed by an aging of 24 months, of which 30% in barrels and 70% in tonneaux. This is followed by 36 months of bottle refinement. Compact ruby red in colour, this Nobile di Montepulciano expresses a bouquet rich in aromas of black cherry and plum, with toasted and tobacco notes. On the palate it is long and intense, with a long finish. Perfect in combination with red meat, game and mushroom dishes.
