Tercic Planta Venezia Giulia IGT Chardonnay 0,75 ℓ

The Planta white wine is produced by the Terčič company, located in San Floriano del Collio, in the province of Gorizia, close to the north-eastern border between Italy and Slovenia. It consists of 100% Chardonnay grapes, which first of all undergo a cold skin maceration of approx. 20 hours. Fermentation takes place in French oak barriques, where the wine subsequently ages for 12 months. Golden yellow in color, it reveals aromas of ripe pineapple, bread crust, honey, hazelnuts and toasted almonds on the nose. The sip is enveloping and creamy, with a persistent finish. It goes very well with steamed shellfish and seafood first courses.
