Reserve Collection Cabernet Sauvignon - TokaraThe Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Collection from Tokara is a wonderful red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (92%), Merlot (4%) and Cabernet Franc (4%). This South African red wine shines in the glass in a deep dark garnet red with ruby highlights. Delightful notes of dark berries (especially blackberry and blueberry), dried herbs, cocoa and some eucalyptus unfold on the nose. The palate also reflects the flavors of the nose with a broad texture. Due to the wood aging, the finish is accompanied by a wonderful vanilla note. Vinification of the Tokara Reserve Collection Cabernet Sauvignon From the vineyards on the foothills of the Simonsberg Mountains come the grapes for this red wine cuvée. After the grapes are harvested, they are brought to the winery. The must is fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 22 months in French oak barriques.
