If you give it a bit of air by swirling it in the glass, you can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, as it does not appear watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the sides of the glass. The initial nose of the Biodynamic Reserve White shows nuances of lemons and ripe apple. Additional fruity-balsamic nuances join the fruity components of the bouquet. This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the premium segment, this South African, despite all its dryness, enchants with the finest balance. Aroma simply does not necessarily require sugar. This light white wine presents itself on the palate as harmonious and multi-layered. On the finish, this well-ageable white wine from the Western Cape wine-growing region finally impresses with considerable length. Once again, hints of lemon and ripe apple appear. Vinification of the Reyneke Biodynamic Reserve White This balanced white wine from South Africa is made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is left to mature for several months on the fine lees before it is finally drawn off. Food recommendation for the Reyneke Biodynamic Reserve White This South African white wine is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to coconut-lime fish curry, fried trout with ginger-pear or wok vegetables with fish.
