Corton Vergènnes Grand Cru - Domaine Chanson
A very small single vineyard located on a Corton hill, shared between Chanson and the Hospices de Beaune. The vineyard once belonged to Charles Gravier, Count of Vergennes, a Dijon-born advisor to Louis XVI. Count of Vergennes, along with Benjamin Franklin, signed the Treaty of Alliance between France and the United States. With this treaty, France became the first country in the world to recognize the United States of America. Bright golden color. Floral scents blend with aromas of citrus and green almond with a hint of minerality. Lively attack. Well balanced with a deep and taut texture. Precise, taut with well-formed acidity. Long and refined finish with a hint of salinity.| Preço |
