In the glass, this wine glows a bright straw yellow. A wonderful aromatic potpourri of stone fruit, tropical fruit (honeydew melon), citrus and a hint of oak enchants the nose. Vinification of the Sileni Cellar Selection Chardonnay At optimal ripeness, the Chardonnay grapes are harvested and brought to the winery of Sileni Estates. There, the grapes are first destemmed and gently pressed. At low temperature, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. Half of this white wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. A small part is aged in French oak barrels.
