Here it offers a wonderfully brilliant, platinum yellow color. This wine delights with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would naturally expect from a wine in the upper price range, this Austrian naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need residual sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. The finish of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Lower Austria, more precisely from Kremstal, finally convinces with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by loess. Vinification of the winery Stift Göttweig Grüner Veltliner The basis for the elegant Grüner Veltliner from Lower Austria are grapes from the grape variety Grüner Veltliner. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Lower Austria. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of loess. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Grüner Veltliner is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months...
