But Germany's top winemakers in particular have shown in recent years that they are increasingly adept at dealing with the extreme temperatures and drought. The Christmann family has bottled a truly exemplary Palatinate wine. In addition to its lush fruit, the wine delights with its wonderful freshness. The nose is dominated by yellow fruits such as apricot, mango, and red vineyard peach. On the palate, it's wonderfully juicy and full of fruit, yet never one-dimensional, offering plenty of playfulness and a finely balanced acidity in the background, very balanced and straightforward. It will gain even more exciting aromas with ageing.
