The Cabernet of Tenuta J. Hofstätter is an intense and structured red wine, resulting from the blending of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The grapes come from vineyards situated on clayey soils, which confer depth and character to the wine. This wine expresses the best characteristics of the Alto Adige terroir, offering a decisive and enveloping sip.The winemaking process involves destemming the grapes and fermenting for about ten days at controlled temperatures, with prolonged skin contact. Towards the end of the process, the temperature is allowed to rise to encourage greater extraction of color and aromas. This method allows for a balanced, powerful wine with great personality.With a rich ruby red color, it presents an intense bouquet of ripe berries, accompanied by warm vegetal notes and sweet spices. On the palate, it is robust and dry, with a wild and earthy texture.
