Terreus is a red wine produced by Bodegas Mauro with 100% Tempranillo grapes, from vineyards grown on deep and loose clay-limestone soils in the area of Castile and León, Spain. This wine reflects the climatic conditions of the vintage, which contributed to achieving an impeccable ripeness of the grapes. The harvest took place in September, in stable weather conditions and without rain. The wine was aged for 20 months in French oak barrels, a process that allowed it to develop a complex aromatic profile and a robust structure. Seductive aromas of red fruits stand out on the nose, while on the palate it offers a full and powerful sensation, with well-defined tannins and a pronounced freshness.
