Terre Forti Radici d'Italia Vino d'Italia Merlot 0,75 ℓ

Merlot Radici d'Italia is a red wine produced by the Terre Forti company in Italy. Composed mostly of Merlot grapes and other varieties, it comes from vineyards located on hills at an altitude between 0 and 400 meters. The clay-silty soil offers ideal conditions for growing vines. Production begins with the manual harvest of the grapes, followed by traditional crushing and destemming. The grapes are kept in contact with the skins for 10-20 days, allowing for good extraction of color and aromas. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-26 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation. Then the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for about 3 months before bottling, giving it a clean and fruity profile. It has a ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose it has typical hints of blackberry and intense cherry, with vegetal notes characteristic of Merlot. On the palate it is persistent and refined, with a pleasant presence of well-defined red fruits. The body is balanced and the aromatic profile clean. This Merlot is ideal to accompany traditional meat dishes, pasta and even pizza.
