Elena Walch Selezione Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC 0,75 ℓ

The Alto Adige Chardonnay from the Selection line of the Elena Walch winery is born in the vineyards located in the municipality of Termeno along the Wine Road, in the province of Bolzano.After the harvest, which takes place at the beginning of September, the grapes are gently pressed. This is followed by the clarification of the must, which is then fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20°C. The wine then ages for several months on its own lees in stainless steel containers.In the glass, the wine presents a bright golden yellow color. On the nose, one can perceive notes of flowers, tropical fruits such as pineapple, and ripe yellow apple. On the palate, the wine is warm and dry, with good persistence.Excellent as an aperitif, this wine can also accompany first courses seasoned with fish sauces and vegetables, or with oven-roasted white meats flavored with Mediterranean herbs.
