The Bolgheri Rosso by Podere Prospero was born in Castagneto Carducci, in vineyards located in the extraordinary Bolgheri terroir. The farm was purchased in 2003 by Nadia Prospero, in love with this land. It is produced with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, carefully harvested at the end of September. First of all, there is a cold pre-fermentation maceration (8-10 ° C), followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature. The wine is characterized by an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose opens with intense hints of berries, black pepper, as well as light balsamic notes. Warm and dry on the palate, with a good persistence. Excellent to combine with land risotto, red meats, game and aged cheeses.
